How to get there
Florence is well-connected by air, with Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) serving international and domestic flights. From the airport, take a taxi or the T2 tram to the city center in just a few minutes. Notice that Florence's city center is walkable, but taxis and buses are available for longer distances.
Morning
Start your day at the magnificent Florence Cathedral (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore), a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Climb to the top of the dome for breathtaking views of the city.
