Looking up at the starry sky, and observing the wonderful galaxy is a good memory in many people's hearts. Many people want to capture this precious beauty with electronic devices and leave better memories for their youth. But Starry Photography is not as simple as we think. After reading this article, the starry sky shooting is no longer difficult.
A galaxy refers to a white bright belt across the sky as a light emitted by countless stars. The width of each part of the Galaxy is different, the narrowest is only 4 to 5 °, and the widest is about 30 °. In fact, the galaxy can be seen in the four seasons, and most of the northern hemisphere can only be seen from March to October.
Preliminary preparation
The shooting of starry photography is greatly affected by the natural environment. In different seasons and time periods, the position of the Milky Way will change, so this requires us to do knowledge of the starry sky.
The stars are actually changing every day. Because the stars that people see on the earth are the major stars in the galaxy. Because of the reflection of sunlight, people can see the stars with the eye. As the seasons are different, the time of the stars will be different.
Generally, when the weather is good, you can shoot the Milky Way without light pollution, which is very shocking.
People located in the northern hemisphere, if you want to shoot the better galaxy and starry sky, it is best to choose the two seasons of spring and summer. Because the night sky in winter rarely can see the stars, the effect of shooting Galaxies is not good enough.
Choose the right camera equipment
Although the vast galaxy is very shiny to the eye, in fact, the brightness of each planet is relatively dim. In order to take our ideal perfect photos, you must choose the right shooting equipment before shooting to adjust the correct exposure value.
Location selection
Those places with less light pollution, high altitude, stable weather, good air vision, and less precipitation are the ideal places for watching stars. It is generally far from the mountainous areas of 20-80 kilometers in the urban area, and you can look up and see the clearly visible galaxy and stars.
New Zealand's Trabo, Jasper in Canada, northern Scotland, Namibia Susris Desert, and Bolivia are all ideal places for stargazing.
Composition problem
Star photography is not too strict for composition. We just need to take the starry sky and the galaxy. After we took it a few more times, we can roughly understand the distribution of the starry sky and the direction of the Galaxy in the picture.
In fact, there is much software that assisted the starry sky. We just need to click the software, and then pick up the mobile phone to compare the night sky to understand the direction of the Galaxy.
Exercise
Shooting the starry sky is very energy-consuming. Especially for shooting, we need to wait a long time. You can also go out to shoot the moon at night. This is a good practical practice opportunity and can master some basic essentials.
It is difficult to capture a picture of the starry sky with the eye with the camera, but once you master some basic exposure setting skills, it will not be so difficult. What we need to do is to persist in practice, use composition, and find appropriate conditions. After one or two attempts, you will take good photos.
